Safety and environmental performance are the top priorities of Kelcap Civil and full compliance with OH&S Legislation and Guidelines is strongly emphasised and are included as one of the main objectives of the company.
Safety and environmental performance is the responsibility of the whole team and Kelcap Civil demonstrate their commitment to a safe environment by continual improvement of their safe work practices and ongoing education by the Managers, as work practices and Legislative obligations change and evolve.
Identification and management of risks and hazards
Identification and management of risks and hazards within the operations of Kelcap Civil provides the foundation for the development of a safe work and environmentally compliant work environment. We understand the best way to eliminate hazards and risks is by taking effective preventative actions. We have a strong reputation for our safety record and environmentally friendly practices.
Kelcap Civil holds an Environment Protection Licence (Lic #21468) issued by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), a Restricted Demolition Licence (Lic #AD213549) along with a Class B Asbestos Removal Licence (Lic #213539) and understand the conditions of each of these licences

ISO 45001 is the first internationally released ISO standard for Occupational Health & Safety systems. It is a relatively new standard, released in March 2018.
ISO 45001 outlines the requirements for our organisation to develop efficient safety systems. It shows interested parties and stakeholders that our organisation is committed to the safety of workers and providing a safe work environment. It is an important sign of our business’ capability to reduce costs through preventing workplace injury and illness.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised Environmental Management Systems standard. It provides a framework that organisations can follow to manage their environmental responsibilities and risks.
When implemented, ISO 14001 is a strategic activity that helps manage environmental aspects, fulfil compliance obligations, and address risks and opportunities.
